It brings together tickets with SLAs, a self-service portal, a service catalog, a knowledge base, CSAT, internal chat, announcements, problems, changes, CAB, approvals, monitoring integrations, inventory, diagrams, e-signed contracts, projects, HR processes, policies, a dashboard, reports, SQL Runner, customers and companies, roles and permissions, an activity log and Bruno AI.
  • No. You can start with the help desk (tickets, SLA, portal and CSAT) and add the other modules as your operation matures. Role permissions also let you show each person only what they need.
  • Yes. The incident (ticket), problem, change, CAB, service catalog, knowledge base and service level modules follow the usual structure of IT service management best practices.
  • Yes. In Settings you can define custom fields for tickets and services, statuses and transition rules for the ticket workflow, ID prefixes, email templates and canned responses.
  • Yes. The interface has both light and dark mode.

Deployment and technology

  • Yes. Swift Support can be installed on your own servers or used in the cloud. The on-premise version keeps your data inside your infrastructure.
  • Swift Support is built on PHP 8.4 and MariaDB, a lightweight, proven stack that any IT team can operate easily.
  • With encrypted, digitally signed OTA updates. The system verifies the package’s integrity, turns on maintenance mode, applies the update and lets you roll it back if something does not go as expected.
  • Yes. It includes email-to-ticket via IMAP, monitoring integrations via webhook, e-signature with SignWell or DocuSign, and an API with manageable access keys and request logging.

Security and compliance

  • With granular roles and permissions (RBAC): more than 180 individual permissions grouped by module. It includes system roles and lets you create custom roles.
  • Yes. The activity log records date, user, action, entity and description, with filters and CSV export.
  • No. The portal area and the administration area are separated by role, and each customer sees only their own tickets.

Bruno AI

  • No. Bruno works in read-only mode: it queries data to answer, but never creates, modifies or deletes information.
  • No. Bruno’s requests are handled through the Swift Support license server.
  • Yes. Access is controlled with permissions and there is a daily query limit per user. Every interaction is logged.
